A Productive Day...I feel Good!

My day started out just like all my days here in NYC...get up go to work, crunch numbers etc... but then at lunch time, I decided to check out some blogs and on Sandra Evertson's blog, there was a link to The Creative Connection Event and I clicked on it to see what it was.... I ended up signing up and I will be going there in September. I am very excited about it. It's another step towards my dream of owning my own business... So with my feeling of excitement, I actually got alot of things done...and then when I got home, I did some more. I can't remember who's blog I saw it one but they were doing a picture a day and I liked that idea so I decided to take my camera out while walking Missy. Here is my picture of the day...It's starting to show the signs of spring...all the trees are blooming and it was a nice warm day. So after we got done with our walk, I decided to take the advice of Kerri Posson. She told me to just start creating and not care about what my space looks like...so I did...I grabbed a little canvas that I drawn a sketch on a long time ago and actually start to paint it! It's only a little 4 x 4 but it felt really good to paint. So here is my progress today. It is going to be a picture of lemonade and a sign. I will try and finish it up tomorrow but I am quite pleased with the beginning of it... In yesterday's post...I was lamenting about the state of my creative space....so I figured I would show a picture of it in all it's messy cramped glory...
