Life gets in the way...

So here is my first bump in the road...after the announcement of the Big D. I had to cancel my trip to the Zne Convention. Not happy at all about that as I was very much looking forward to taking Lisa Kaus' class and meeting Catherine. I lost alot of money in canceling but a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do. So if you have wondered where I have been...I am here...just getting by day by day...

I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted at Art Unraveled, as I wasn't feeling my best when I went. I even missed a class there...

That's it for now...I will get back to my happy place soon.

I am so sorry to hear you had to cancel a trip....when this all smooths out you will be making many.....and life will be brighter for sure. Don't forget that there is a grieving process when life as you knew it is pulled out from under you. Be easy on yourself if you can.

It was so good to see you even though it was too short and not a 'sit and talk a spell' kind of time. Your pieces are even more beautiful in person and I am very, very happy to be able to call one my own.!!

That's a major bummer Cindy. Hang on over those bumps in the road -- you'll get to a better destination when it's over. I am in a major artistic funk right now, totally related to being unable to focus while lawyers and financial woes loom in the background -- but I know I'll get to a better place too.

I hope for happier days for you. Let us in on how your trip was. Did you like your classes? Did you meet some new folks? What was the bestest thing from your trip? Have you taken pics of the things you made? I have never been to AZ. Could you not sell your classes for the other thing??

Divorce is tough (been there) and there are soooo many ups and downs - often within the same hour! Keep your eye on tomorrow and know that things WILL improve. (((hugs)))

O.K. I read from the bottom up because that's how it shows up on bloglines and I wanted to catch up. Aaaaoooh! I am so disappointed you aren't comming. Thwarted by the big "D". I guess I wasn't crossing my fingers hard enough. Cindy! I will wait. You now have two votes from people who want to see you in Portland.

Boo hoo, now I have no date to sit with in class. No one to gossip with nor paint their apron. Hmmm, I think maybe I know why you really cancelled.

Just wanted to add my commiserations too. Been there, with two big Ds (divorce and depression) putting a spanner in the works, but now I am out of the woods and life is looking good!

As it will for you too.

Hugs,
