Finding my artistic style and being true to myself

I decided that my first attempt at the Fat book page was too over the top and decided to do something more original. Although it is not 100% complete yet, I decided to post it cause Jen wanted to see it.The saying is "Life is a flower of which love is the honey." As I was creating these, I started to think about what I am drawn into doing. It seems that I really love outlining things and I have a more whimsical style. Whimsy plays a big part in my life. I like throwing in the unexpected into my decor. Like in my living room which is pretty formal looking, I have a little stuffed bunny, "a dust bunny" under the coffee table looking out at you. It's things like that, that bring a smile to my face. In my jewelry that I have been making, I am drawn to the fun in it. I already have made a bunch of button bracelets, with names like Cotton Candy, Cherry Limeade, and Candy Corn. I will post those in the future when I finish soldering them. But in your mind...can you conjure up the colors? Of course you can... So I have made one more step in my art life by deciding my direction...Whimsy...childlike fun. That's me. Take it or leave it. It's who I am and have always been, I am just finding her again. Gotta get...Halloween's fast approaching and it's my FAVORITE holiday! The ideas are rolling now...

Is this for the heart fatbook in Portland? If it is, I wonder if we'll be in the same book?

Love that page! It looks like a lot of work. Can't imagine having to make too many of them.
